ree

Strata Community Association Queensland today announced the appointment of its 2025 Board, marking an important moment of renewal and continuity for the peak body representing more than 1.2 million Queenslanders who live and work in strata communities.

The incoming Board members are George Salloum, Simon Barnard, Cameron Griffiths, Sarah Price, Peter Cassels, Michael Hurley, Cath Pashley, Keye Jackson and Scott Paynter. Each brings significant expertise across strata management, governance, property, community leadership and business operations, and their collective experience will help guide SCAQ through a period of growth, regulatory change and expanded member services.

SCAQ also acknowledges the outstanding service of outgoing President Andrew Davidson and outgoing Board members Suzanne Cubbin, Duncan Lee and Julie MacCarthy. Their leadership has strengthened the Association’s governance, financial position and member engagement, and has elevated the voice of professional strata managers at a critical time for the sector. SCAQ extends its sincere thanks for their commitment and contribution to Queensland’s strata community.

The newly elected Board will meet in the coming days to confirm the 2025 Board Executive, with an announcement to be made next week.
