Built to Last: Kerri Anthon and the Story That Starts 10 Storeys

Every industry is shaped by people who are willing to show up, stay the course, and quietly raise the bar for everyone around them. In strata, those contributions are often unseen, but they are deeply felt.

10 Storeys (see what we did there?) was created to change that.

This series is about telling the stories of women in our sector. The trailblazers, the steady hands, the leaders who have shaped strata not through noise or notoriety, but through commitment, integrity, and service. Each story is a chapter. Together, they form a collective story of experience, leadership, and impact.

It felt only right that Storey One belonged to Kerri Anthon.

Kerri is the founder and owner of BCsystems and brings more than 30 years of experience in strata management. She remains deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of her business, with a strong focus on culture, people, and long-term strategic direction. Her leadership has always been grounded in professionalism and a genuine commitment to doing the work well.

Beyond her own organisation, Kerri has given generously to the strata profession itself. As an accredited strata manager and long-standing member of Strata Community Association Queensland, she served on the SCAQ Board of Directors for more than 14 years, including six years as Vice President. Her contribution has helped shape standards, strengthen governance, and support the professionalisation of strata management in Queensland.

In recognition of that service and leadership, Kerri was awarded Life Membership in 2018. It is an honour reserved for those whose impact is enduring, and whose commitment extends well beyond their own business interests.

Kerri’s story is not about accolades. It is about foundations. About building a career, a business, and a profession with care, consistency, and purpose. It is about staying connected to the work, mentoring others, and understanding that leadership is as much about stewardship as it is about success.

As the first story in this series, Kerri’s video sets the tone for what 10 Storeys is all about. Real stories. Real leadership. Women who have shaped our sector from the inside out.

We invite you to watch Kerri’s story, reflect on the foundations she represents, and join us as we share the next stories in the lead-up to our WiSE celebrations and beyond.
