Women in Strata Excellence (WiSE)
Women in Strata Excellence, WiSE, exists to recognise, connect and elevate the women who shape our strata sector.
Across Queensland, women lead teams, manage complexity, navigate conflict, mentor others and hold communities together, often quietly and without recognition. WiSE was created to change that, not by creating a separate space, but by shining a light on excellence that already exists.
WiSE is about visibility, voice and connection. It celebrates leadership in all its forms, from trailblazers who have built businesses and shaped policy, to emerging leaders finding their confidence and place in the profession. It acknowledges that leadership is rarely linear, and that experience, empathy and resilience matter just as much as titles.
At its heart, WiSE is a platform. A platform for storytelling, mentoring, shared learning and collective support. Through events such as the WiSE High Tea, leadership conversations, and initiatives like 10 Storeys, WiSE creates space for women to reflect on their journey, learn from one another, and feel seen within the sector they contribute so much to.
WiSE is not about perfection. It is about progress, generosity and courage. It is about lifting others as we climb, and strengthening the strata profession by valuing the people who make it work.
Because when women thrive in strata, our sector is stronger for it.

The 10 Storeys Project
The 10 Storeys Project
10 Storeys is a storytelling project created to honour the women who have shaped, led and quietly carried the strata sector.
We began this project last year with SCAQ Life Member Kerri Anton, whose generosity in sharing her journey reminded me just how powerful it is when women pause to reflect on the paths they have taken. Like much of women’s leadership, the idea was strong, but time and responsibility intervened.
In the lead-up to our WiSE High Tea and International Women’s Day 2026, we are now continuing this project with clear intent. One Storey at a time, we will be sharing the lived experiences of women across our sector, not polished biographies, but real stories of growth, doubt, resilience and leadership.
These stories matter. They show us what leadership really looks like.
Kerri Anthon
Managing Director, BC Systems
Kerri Anthon is the founder and owner of BCsystems and one of Queensland’s most respected leaders in strata management. With more than 30 years of experience, Kerri has built a business grounded in professionalism, culture, and long-term thinking.
Deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of BCsystems, Kerri’s leadership extends beyond her own organisation. As an accredited strata manager, long-standing member of Strata Community Association Queensland, and former Board Director and Vice President, her influence has helped shape the profession itself.
In recognition of her exceptional service and commitment to the strata sector, Kerri was awarded Life Membership in 2018. Her story sets the foundation for 10 Storeys, reminding us that strong industries are built by leaders who show up, stay the course, and give back.

Jenny Strong
Macquarie Bank
Jenny Strong’s story is one of longevity, trust, and deep commitment to people and place. With more than 25 years immersed in the strata sector as a business banker, Jenny’s journey reflects the quiet influence of those who work alongside our industry rather than in front of it, shaping outcomes through relationships, integrity, and insight.
Born in Brisbane to a Greek immigrant father, Jenny’s story is grounded in courage, education, and opportunity. What began as a law and business graduate’s ambition to support Australian small business evolved into a lifelong professional partnership with the strata sector, one built on trust, adaptability, and genuine care for the people behind the buildings.

Seimon Griffiths
Director, Northern Body Corporate Management
When we began the 10 Storeys project with Kerri Anton, it was with a simple intention, to create space for women in our sector to tell their story in their own words.
Seimon Griffiths’ story continues that intent.
Seimon did not plan a career in strata. She fell into the industry during the Townsville floods of 1998, walked into a busy office with little idea of what lay ahead, and learned as she went. What followed was a career shaped by relationships, curiosity, resilience and a growing confidence earned through experience.
Her story is honest, quietly powerful and deeply familiar to many in our sector. It reflects the reality of non-linear careers, leadership that evolves over time, and the strength that comes from simply staying the course.
We are proud to share Seimon’s Storey as part of 10 Storeys and our Women in Strata Excellence program, as we lead into the WiSE High Tea and International Women’s Day 2026.
We hope you enjoy reading it.
